Founding Owner
Dustin Laverty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Okanagan College. He began his career in public practice with MNP, where he gained hands-on experience supporting a range of clients with their accounting and compliance needs.
Building on that foundation, he went on to establish his own bookkeeping company, grounded in the principles of accuracy, integrity, and strong client relationships. Dustin is particularly passionate about helping business owners better understand their financial position, with a focus on improving financial literacy and building long-term confidence in managing their businesses.
Kate Laverty
Owner/Operations Manager
Kate Laverty is the owner of Eagleeye Bookkeeping Inc., bringing hands-on experience in operations, marketing, and building efficient business systems.
She has worked with Massif Marketing and held a management role at ALDO Group, where she was recognized for improving operational efficiency and managing costs effectively.
Kate led Eagleeye’s rebrand and is actively involved in developing internal processes, training the team, and supporting business growth. Her focus is on creating clear, streamlined systems that produce accurate, dependable financial reporting for clients.

Intermediate Bookkeeper & Founding Team Member
Manni Takhar completed coursework in Business Administration at Okanagan College, with a focus on accounting-related studies. He brings a strong foundation in core accounting principles, supported by both his education and practical experience in professional bookkeeping environments.
Recognized for his disciplined work ethic, Manni is often among the first in the office, using his early-start approach to maximize productivity while maintaining a healthy balance between his professional and family commitments. His ability to stay focused and efficient makes him a dependable contributor to daily operations.
Manni is also valued for his positive and collaborative presence in the workplace. He brings professionalism, attention to detail, and a light sense of humour that helps foster an engaging team environment while consistently delivering accurate, high-quality work in support of both clients and colleagues.

Senior Bookkeeper
Erin Brodsky brings extensive bookkeeping and business experience, supported by a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Marketing, along with formal training in Office Education and Computer Skills.
She has over a decade of hands-on bookkeeping experience, including senior-level responsibilities in monthly bookkeeping, GST/PST filings, payroll remittances, year-end working papers, and payroll support. Erin is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, and Microsoft Office, bringing both technical expertise and efficiency to her role.
Recently promoted in recognition of her accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, Erin has demonstrated a strong ability to ensure precise financial reporting and dependable client support. Her excellent communication skills and well-rounded background in bookkeeping, administration, and client service make her a valuable asset to both the Eagleeye team and its clients.

Senior Bookkeeper
John Bird holds an Accounting Technician certification from Okanagan College, providing him with a strong technical foundation in accounting and financial processes.
His background is further strengthened by experience in business operations, client relations, and strategic growth initiatives.
In addition to his bookkeeping expertise, John brings advanced technical skills in website development, search engine optimization (SEO), and emerging AI technologies. His experience in digital strategy and business development supports both operational efficiency and long-term client success.
Recently promoted to Senior Bookkeeper, John was recognized for his encouraging support, team leadership, and strong business sense. He is known for professional client communication, building trusted relationships while ensuring accurate financial reporting and dependable service across the organization.

Hunter Mossing has been a valued part of the Eagleeye Bookkeeping Inc. team through an important period of growth, supporting us as we transitioned from a home-based business to our downtown Kelowna location.

Office Support & Maintenance Assistant
Cooper is a valued member of Eagleeye Bookkeeping Inc., supporting office operations with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
He has completed BC Violence and Harassment Awareness, BC Health & Safety Awareness for Workers, Handling Personal Information in the Workplace, Introduction to Safe Lifting, and Ladder Safety Training, and holds a valid child employment permit for underage work.
He helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized office environment while building responsibility, consistency, and strong work habits.
We appreciate his effort, reliability, and growing work ethic as he develops skills for his future goals.

Chief Morale Officer (CMO)
Missy proudly serves as Eagleeye Bookkeeping Inc.’s Chief Moral Officer, bringing daily doses of calm, comfort, and occasional distraction.
She is incredibly friendly, deeply loyal, and always happy to greet anyone willing to offer even the smallest bit of attention.
We recognize that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. If you would prefer Missy not be present during your visit or meeting, please let us know in advance or call us—we’re happy to accommodate.
Her role is simple: boost morale, spread good energy, and ensure no one works through a perfectly good cuddle opportunity.
